2.1.3. Test and maintenance

Within EQUITEL proprietary protocols there are several commands to make tests and help in maintenance

tasks.

The most important commands are the ones informing about the system status (QRYSYSINFO) and

keeping the communications (KEEPALIVE).

The first one checks that E400 is working fine and gives information about the system status in that

moment.

The second one is used to keep the communications with the equipment. Its use and expiry time are

configurable through the Web server.

2.1.3.1. QRYSYSINFO message

This is the message that the controller sends to enquiry about the E400 status.

Syntax: Command

QRYSYSINFO

Parameters: None

As an answer to this message, E400 sends the controller the message SYSINFO containing its status.

2.1.3.2. Mensaje SYSINFO

This is the message that E400 sends as the answer to the command QRYSYSINFO and that contains

information of the equipment status.

Address: E400  CC

Syntax: Command: SYSINFO

Parameters: Working mode (1: Protocol, 2: SIP, 3: P2P-SIP)

List of the different tasks status (1: Activ, 0: Not active)

Example: SYSINFO 2/111100&

The second parameter has 6 possible values whose meaning is a follows, , according to the order in

the list:

1 Application of active communication

2 Task for active SIP (in Proprietary Mode it is not active)

3 Task controlling the button “Reset Factory” active

4 Web server active

5 Audio Active

6 Tone active
